Job Description:

Position Objective:

This position involves undertaking the Installation, Service, Maintenance & Field upgrades of the Thermo Fisher product portfolio of the Anatomical Pathology Division with an objective to keep all the instruments operational as per technical specification and to achieve customer satisfaction.

Position summary include the following (other duties may be assigned):

·         Work independently to service APD products involving: Installations, Training, validation support, Remote and On-site Diagnostics and Repair Services and Preventative Maintenance visits.

·         Provide technical assistance, consultation and problem solving to customers as necessary.

·         Achieve assigned service revenue target along with consumable & accessories sales & product upgradations target effectively.

·         Accurately document field service activities, including installation report and service work report, and timely submit through the required system.

·         Ensuring customer satisfaction in all aspects of services provided. Follow up on DOA and Hot Account sites to ensure customer issues are accurately and timely communicated to the appropriate authority, solution developed and eventually solved.

·         Implement key account strategies for high profile customers and maintain good relationship with opinion leaders at customer site.

·         Share experience and best practice of product services and applications with colleagues.

·         Contribute to knowledge base to allow continued improvement of work efficiency and effectiveness.

·         Effectively communicate competitive information and additional sales opportunities to Field Sales team.

·         Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory as & when required.

·         Submit weekly activity reports & business expense reports on a timely basis.

·         Compliance with Organization Policy

 

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronics / E&C /Electrical/Biomedical Engineering/Medical Electronics, etc.

·         3- 5 years of support experience in Histopathology Equipment.

·         Strong hands-on analytical and troubleshooting talent

·         Ability to combine technical knowledge with service skills

·         Ability to travel at least 75% of the time

·         Excellent interpersonal skills

 

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Basic negotiation skills.
